The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) is gearing up for another technology fair early next year to explore new automated election systems (AES) that may be used in future polls. COMELEC spokesperson John Rex Laudiangco said the fair will help the agency review modern voting technologies and evaluate which systems are best suited for the country’s elections. Grab, in partnership with Commission on Election (COMELEC), has announced its #OneDestiNation campaign to help curb voter disenfranchisement and misinformation in preparation for the May 13 National Elections. “Misinformed and disenfranchised voters are one of our top challenges in the Philippines during the election. The website will upload results from each of the election returns (ERs) from all polling precincts nationwide.
