Elon Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI is set to launch its latest Grok-1.5 chatbot on his social media platform X next week, the billionaire announced on Friday. The upgraded version, Grok-1.5, aims to surpass current AI standards and is currently in the training phase, according to Musk's post on X. This announcement comes shortly after Musk declared xAI's intention to open-source Grok earlier this month. The move followed Musk's legal action against Microsoft-backed OpenAI, accusing the organization of deviating from its original mission towards a profit-driven model. Musk had founded xAI last year, signaling his ambitions to drive innovation in AI technology. Elon Musk, Twitter's CEO and the owner of SpaceX and Tesla, plans on releasing an artificial intelligence called TruthGPT that's able to rival ChatGPT.
