The Exynos 1280 was built using the 5nm EUV technology and features an octa-core CPU that consists of two powerful Arm Cortex-A78 cores and six power-efficient Cortex-A55. The Exynos 1280 also has an advanced neural network engine that can support a wide range of intelligent services like scene segmentation, real-time motion analysis, multi-object surveillance and more. Samsung Electronics has annouced its two new Exynos processors for mobile devices, the Exynos 5 Octa (Exynos 5422) and the Exynos 5 Hexa (Exynos 5260). The Exynos 5422 is Samsung's advanced Exynos 5 Octa product for its premium mobile devices. The new processor promises to deliver up to 34% higher performance compared to previous Exynos Octa models and can save power consumption by up to 10%.
