Samsung has confirmed that it’s still working on the Exynos 2500, with plans to release it in the second half of 2025. The news came during Samsung’s latest earnings call, where the company’s System LSI division noted that the Exynos 2500 is being refined with an eye toward securing “design wins” for mobile models launching in the latter part of the year. This strongly suggests that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 foldables would be among the first to feature the new chipset. However, as usual, it’s unclear whether all global versions of these devices will get the Exynos 2500, or if certain regions will still see a flagship Snapdragon chip instead. Recent leaks have also revealed some details about the Exynos 2500, with the latest showing a different CPU configuration.
