Facebook has announced that its first custom-built data center in Asia will be located in Singapore. The 170,000-square-meter data center is the result of the company's 1.4 billion Singapore dollar investment. It will support hundreds of jobs and will form part of Facebook's growing presence in Singapore and across Asia. NVIDIA and Intel have announced a partnership focused on AI, data centers, and relative consumer products. Once Intel has developed the custom data center CPUs, NVIDIA will have servers capable of running complex AI models and cloud services. Once operational, it will deliver 50MW to the grid serving Google’s Tennessee and Alabama data centers.
