Facebook's Nearby Friends is a feature that lets you share your current location with your Facebook friends, while Weather Alerts appear on your notifications to give you current weather conditions in your area. To Filipinos, Facebook was the social media site Friendster never was -- There were games such as Farmville, and a minimalistic, cleaner interface.
