#facebook rebranding

Facebook's parent company has announced that it has gone through a rebranding and has unveiled its new logo. Announced through the Facebook newsroom, Facebook's parent company aims to distinguish itself from the social media platform and to be "clearer about the products that come from Facebook", hence the rebranding. The new Facebook parent company logo utilizes customized typography, rounded corner, open tracking, and capitalization to separate it from the main social media platform. Once included within all the Facebook company's apps, the logo will take on the color of its respective app environment. Antonio Lucio, Chief Marketing Officer of Facebook, stated that: People should know which companies make the products they use. Our main services include the Facebook app, Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus, Workplace, Portal and Calibra. We started being clearer about the products and services that are part of Facebook years ago, adding a company endorsement to products like Oculus, Workplace and Portal.
