In a report by PhilStar, Globe has responded to the NTC regarding the strict enforcement of their Fair Use Policy and revealed plans to offer subscribers several options to increase their data allocation. Globe At Home is working to make fiber internet a basic utility, like water or electricity, by building it directly into new houses. (The system can only provide signal up to 12 nautical miles from the coast, if a subscriber may want to use it out in the sea.)
