mWell has introduced the Healthsavers Plan, a service that allows users to consult a licensed Filipino doctor through its app while traveling, for a starting price of PHP 399. The plan is aimed at Filipino travelers, especially during busy seasons like Holy Week, when many people go on trips but may not prepare for possible health concerns. Through the app, users can connect with Filipino doctors, making it easier to communicate and receive care. The plan is available for both local and international travelers. Here’s What You Really Need to Know: Canada has expanded its Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) program to include Filipino passport holders, but only under specific conditions. This does not mean that all Filipinos can enter Canada without a visa. Filipino travelers may apply for a Canadian eTA instead of a regular tourist visa only if they meet at least one of the following requirements: They have held a Canadian visitor (tourist) visa within the last 10 years, OR They currently hold a valid U.S. Additionally, travelers entering Canada by land or sea are not eligible to use an eTA and will still need a visa.
