mWell has introduced the Healthsavers Plan, a service that allows users to consult a licensed Filipino doctor through its app while traveling, for a starting price of PHP 399.
The plan is aimed at Filipino travelers, especially during busy seasons like Holy Week, when many people go on trips but may not prepare for possible health concerns. It offers access to medical help anytime, helping users manage minor illnesses without needing to find a nearby clinic or hospital.
For PHP 399, the Healthsavers Plan includes one video consultation with a doctor. It also provides an e-prescription, medical certificate, and e-lab requests if needed. The plan also comes with personal accident insurance, which adds protection during travel.
mWell said the service is designed to help reduce stress and unexpected medical costs, especially for those traveling abroad where healthcare can be more expensive. Through the app, users can connect with Filipino doctors, making it easier to communicate and receive care.
To use the service, users need to download the mWell app, register, and go to the “Shop” section to select the Healthsavers Plan and complete the purchase. The plan is available for both local and international travelers.
