Mozilla has announced a free encrypted file transfer service that allows users to share files from any browser, the Firefox Send. Firefox Send boasts end-to-end encryption and security controls, allowing you to choose when your file link expires, the number of downloads, and whether to add an optional password for an extra layer of security. It's also easy to use as you can drag-and-drop the files you want to upload then just send the link to the recipient. Files up to 1GB can be shared right away but a Firefox account will be required for files up to 2.5GB. https://youtu.be/eRHpEn2eHJA Firefox Send is currently available through browsers via send.firefox.com but will also be available as an Android app in beta later this week. Mozilla seems to have a lot of confidence though when they decided to develop their own “experimental” mobile platform called the Firefox OS, AKA Boot to Gecko (B2G).
