A launch event from Huawei with a plethora of new products come to a close with the announcement of the MatePad 11 (2023) tablet, Enjoy 60 smartphone, and Freebuds 5 wireless earbuds. Freebuds 5: Last, but not the least is the Freebuds 5 wireless earbuds which features a unique in-ear design without the silicone tips that is associated with in-ear pieces today. The stems can also be used for touch controls, and the Freebuds 5 itself can handle up to 5 hours of listening time with up to 30 combined hours with the charging case. Prices starts at CNY 2199 or PHP 17,600 for the MatePad 11 (2023), CNY 1299 or PHP 10,400 for the Enjoy 60, and CNY 899 or PHP 7200 for the Freebuds 5. The Huawei P30 series launched in the country a few days ago, and along with it are two accessories -- the Huawei Watch GT and the Freebuds Lite. From how it looks, the Freebuds Lite is identical to the Huawei Freebuds as I can't see any physical difference between them. Since the Freebuds Lite case also serves as a power bank for the earphones, a notification light sits in front which tells the user if the battery percentage is still high enough (green) or if it is running low (red). At the back of the Freebuds Lite are built-in G-Sensors where users can tap to execute specific actions in their smartphones.
