Petron has announced to offer a 50% price off on all fuels for a limited time. With this, customers may get 50% off on all Petron fuels when they gas up on December 22, 2020, between 11 AM to 1 PM, at more than 1,100 participating Petron stations nationwide. Unless you've been living under a rock, one of the problems we've been dealing with domestically is the continuous rise in fuel prices. As if things couldn't get any worse -- according to the Department of Energy (DOE) -- there's a chance that the fuel supply may experience a disruption. Ergo, fuel prices will continue to increase. A task force has been set up to assess and come up with contingencies to address the possible internal and external fuel supply disruptions. An SPR is when the country will fill up its fuel reserves to be able to still meet the country's energy demands despite a crisis in the importation of fuel. It’s powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid engine paired with a high-capacity electric motor, designed to deliver both performance and fuel savings.
