A benchmark from GFXBench reveals a specs list of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active (model SM-G870). According to the leaked benchmark a 5.2-inch display with 1920 x 1080 screen resolution will accompany the new S5 Active, while a lower Snapdragon 800 processor will be installed under the hood. Out of the box, the S5 Active is expected to run on Android 4.4.2. There are no mentions of its IP certification but since the current S5 already has water- and dust-resistance, we can expect the S5 Active to be fully water-proofed on top of other rugged protection. It's already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be launched in the Philippines before end of October (that's next week!) and we finally got the retail price down to the dot -- Php34,990 (thanks to our source). The price isn't surprising (though I thought it would be a bit higher by a couple grand) considering its baby brother, the Galaxy S, sells for Php32,000.
