IKEA, in collaboration with the ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), is developing a new series of affordable gaming furniture and accessories for gamers. Developed in IKEA Product Development Centre located in Shanghai, China, the new gaming furniture lineup consists of 30 products. "ROG is thrilled to be partnering with IKEA to create the ultimate gaming lifestyle for gamers. Gamers have always dreamed of the perfect gaming space that is both comfortably functional and enables full immersion in games," said Kris Huang, general manager, ASUS Gaming Gear and Accessories Business Unit. Microsoft has started rolling out a new “Xbox mode” for Windows 11 PCs, bringing a console-like gaming experience to laptops, desktops, and handheld devices. The Xbox mode for PC gaming establishes an immersive experience through its full-screen interface, which works with controllers while focusing on gaming content without any background interruptions. The system enables players to rapidly find and start games while they can toggle between desktop and gaming modes, and they can use a single library that contains both Xbox Game Pass and their installed PC games. According to Microsoft, the feature provides its greatest benefits to users of gaming laptops and handheld PCs because these devices need instant access to their functions, which should remain easy to use.
