This is so far the cheapest Cedar Trail netbook we've ever seen being sold locally -- a Linux-based Gateway LT4000 (a brand owned by Acer). With a retail price of only Php12,990, the Gateway LT4000 is even more affordable than the Lenovo IdeaPad S110 we reported earlier. We're not sure what Linux flavor they claim this is pre-installed with but I reckon it's more likely Ubuntu (if not DOS which most other non-MS netbooks are loaded with). We're starting to see more netbooks running the newer AMD Athlon II Neo processors that can be considered in the ULV category. The Gateway EC13N01i is one of them, sporting a dual-core 1.3GHz CPU and a healthy 2MB cache.
