Source: GCash Help Center, PayMaya  via ABS-CBN News The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has issued a System Maintenance Advisory informing its clients that its ATMs, cash deposit machines (CDMs), POS terminals and online banking services, will be unavailable at certain times in the next few days. Globe has started sending notifications to GCash users that starting March 15 this year, they will be charging Php50 as monthly fee if they become inactive for over 6 months. After that the GCash account will be deactivated. Globe encourages GCash subscribers to regularly use their account for transactions. News have been spreading the entire week that dozens of BPI customers have reported unauthorized withdrawals from their ATM accounts.
