After all the teaser posts, Geely has officially launched the newest member of its lineup. Say hello to the 2022 Geely Emgrand sedan. In terms of looks, the Emgrand sedan features a very modern but stately design, it gets a new bold grille that Geely dubbed "Energy Pulse", flanking the grille are big LED headlights (Halogen for entry-level) accompanied by LED daytime running lights. [caption id="attachment_300882" align="alignnone" width="720"] Photo Credit: Geely Philippines[/caption] Inside the Emgrand is an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with AM/FM radio, wireless phone mirroring, and Bluetooth. The power-adjustable driver's seat and sunroof are also exclusive to the Premium variant [caption id="attachment_300883" align="alignnone" width="720"] Photo Credit: Geely Philippines[/caption] When it comes to power, all variants are equipped with a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated D-CVVT engine. Safety is also a top priority for Geely, all Emgrand models come with dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control, stability control, hill-start assist and tire pressure monitoring. There are slated to be 3 variants of the Emgrand, S (to be launched at a later date), Comfort, and Premium.
