Apple's rank on the Global smartphone shipments for Q2 2019 has gone down to fourth place according to a smartphone intelligence service company. Based on the IHS Markit company, smartphone shipments declined to 331.2 million units in Q2 2019 which is 3.6% in a decrease from Q2 2018. The company shipping 58.7 million smartphones in the second quarter globally, down less than 1 percent from 59.1 million units in the first quarter and up 8 percent from the second quarter of 2018.
