Globe is looking to re-invent the mobile hotspot and this time, they partnered with Rainx to introduce The loop in the Philippines. The loop is basically a hybrid device combining a 5G WiFi hotspot, a portable speaker, and a portable Android device. Globe is redefining home broadband with Globe AT HOME 5G loop, delivering fiber-like internet through 5G technology, perfectly built for shared WiFi experiences at home, and the freedom to bring home with you on the go, wherever life happens. As the first in the world to launch loop, Globe marks a global milestone in redefining shared digital experiences. While the old mobile hotspot has lost it purpose, Globe is trying to re-invent the mobile hotspot by making "The loop" a lifestyle-focused device -- like portable entertainment device with fast, unlimited 5G connectivity. When we first tried this unit back in May, we had quite some time with it so here's a quick run-down of why we think The loop can be an attractive device to many people: It's a 5G portable hotspot that you can share connectivity with the entire family or group of friend when you are outside or on a trip.
