The ability to purchase apps from the iTunes store is made possible with the GCash Virtual AMEX card. Your purchases in the iTunes store is then charged to your virtual AMEX which will eventually reflect in your postpaid bill during the cut-off period. Back in August, Globe enabled Direct Carrier Billing for the Google Play Store. This carrier billing for the iTunes store is somewhat "indirect" since it has to go thru the virtual AMEX card.
