Samsung has recently announced the availability of Google Assistant to its 2020 lineup of smart TVs. As Samsung shared in its press release, Google Assistant will roll out on this year's 4K and 8K QLED TVs including Crystal UHD TVs, The Frame, The Serif, The Sero, and The Terrace. Previously, Samsung integrates support on other voice assistants, such as Bixby and Amazon Alexa, across its smart TVs. Google assistants and Smart TVs need to be on the same wifi network. Currently, Google Assistant on select Samsung smart TVs are now available in the UK, France, Germany, and Italy. As AI requires a certain level of hardware, Google Assistant will continue operation on smartphones that don't meet the minimum specifications (2GB of RAM, Android 10), Google Home devices, Google TV, smart displays, and other similar technologies.
