Google is currently optimizing photo storage of the Google Camera app on Pixel smartphones by eliminating a dedicated folder for portrait photos. Based on the report by Android Police, the Google Camera version 7.5 now automatically saves portrait photos directly on the Camera folder found in the smartphone's Gallery and observes the chronology of all the user's other photos. Currently, the Google Camera app version 7.5 only works in the beta version of Android 11. A new update that’s rolling out right now is the 2.1 version of Google Camera which lets you capture photos in the middle of video recording just by simply tapping the screen. Google Camera made its official debut back in April that came with the Lens Blur feature among other things. As mentioned earlier, the update is already up for grabs at the Google Play Store.
