One of today's biggest companies - Google, is over over $350,000 of cash prizes to whoever can 'hack' their famed Nexus Series, notably the Nexus 6P and 5X. It is called Project Zero - a contest by Google to help exploit any security vulnerabilities within their Android OS platform. According to the announcement: "The goal of this contest is to find a vulnerability or bug chain that achieves remote code execution on multiple Android devices knowing only the devices’ phone number and email address. " Google is offering $200,000 as grand prize, $100,000 as runner up, and atleast $50,000 from Android Security Rewards awarded to additional winning entries.
