Google started the rollout for its Find My Device network for Android users today, starting with the US and Canada. These are particularly designed to work smoothly with the Find My Device app. A ‘Find nearby’ feature is also in the works for release next month, helping users locate missing devices nearby. Recent retail listings and leaked renders (9to5Google) reveal an elongated, pill-shaped design - distinct from the circular natures of Apple’s AirTag and Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTag. Identified under model number GA12506 and debuting in a "Fog Light" colorway, the Pixel Tag relies on Google’s updated Find Hub network to locate lost belongings such as keys, wallets, and luggage.
