Google has finally rolled out an upload-and-analyze feature to Gemini, and is now available to all users, regardless of subscription tier. The update, which applies across the web, Android, and iOS platforms, allows free users to upload files directly from their devices or Google Drive for analysis and summarization. Both on the web and in-app, simply tap on the “+” icon > tap on ‘Files’ > then select a file or a document you want Gemini to analyze. Google axes AI Studio app before official launch. Google AI Studio has announced that it is canceling its planned mobile app for iOS and Android. Despite receiving around 800,000 pre-orders, Google AI Studio is cancelling their mobile app. Instead of launching a separate app, Google said it will integrate AI Studio's software-building capabilities directly into the Gemini app on both mobile and desktop. According to the company, the goal is to let users create apps and software naturally during their everyday conversations with Gemini.
