Google just introduced a new payment app today, aptly named Google Pay. The company is working on streamlining this new payment app by bringing it to all Google products. This isn't necessarily the tech giant's first payment app, they already have those in the form of Google Wallet and Android Pay. What Google wants though, is to create one centralized payment center for all of their products. Google is also promising that longtime Android Pay users will still enjoy the features that the app has. The company is also already working with partners, both online and in stores, to integrate Google Pay into their systems. At WWDC 2026, the company confirmed it partnered with Google, using the technologies behind Gemini, to create the next generation of Apple Foundation Models. Rather than relying strictly on its own hardware, Apple is looking to rely on Google's Gemini AI model running on NVIDIA’s latest Blackwell B200 data center graphics chips.
