If you're an Android user, you might have noticed something new on the Play Store today as Google has just brought Play Books to more countries around the world including the Philippines. Google Play Books is an e-Book reader and Google's one stop shop for Android users who crave digital books. Play Books includes new releases, New York Times best sellers, up-and-coming authors, and free books. The Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) has confirmed that GoreBox is no longer accessible through the Google Play Store and Steam in the Philippines after both platforms complied with the government's request to restrict the game nationwide. According to the CICC, users in the Philippines can no longer download the game through Google Play or Steam. The nationwide restriction follows a meeting between the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the CICC, and representatives from Google Philippines and Google LLC. TECNO Mobile Philippines confirmed on Facebook that the new laptop will be on display at PC Express, SM North EDSA, from August 1 to 16.
