GoTyme Bank has partnered with Visa for the FIFA World Cup 2026, bringing exclusive promos and experiences for Filipino fans. The collaboration allows GoTyme Bank customers to get a chance to watch the World Cup live, with raffle entries tied to spending using their GoTyme Visa Debit Cards. As part of the campaign, GoTyme is also rolling out limited-edition Visa debit cards featuring World Cup-themed designs, including Pitch Black and Trophy Gold variants. GoTyme Bank is now the most-used Visa debit card in the Philippines. This growth happened because the bank makes it easy for people to get a card quickly at kiosks and use modern features like Google Wallet and "tap-to-pay." Visa recognized GoTyme for having the fastest growth in active cards and touch-free transactions. GCash will soon let users link their Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards directly to their accounts for Scan-to-Pay transactions. Users can link up to three Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards to their accounts. GCash expects to roll out direct Visa and Mastercard card-linking nationwide within August.
