#GPT Update

OpenAI has announced GPT-5.1, with its rollout starting with paid users. The company says the upgrade comes with the intent of making it easier to customize ChatGPT. However, enterprise and education customers have an early access period before GPT-5.1 becomes the default model. The GPT-5 model update promises faster responses, improved reasoning, and flexible controls for conversations. The update brings two variants, which include Instant and Thinking. Custom instructions across multi-turn conversations are now set to persist with the update. While Gemini Notebook remains a standalone research tool, Google is rolling out an update that gives every notebook a secure cloud computer, allowing it to write and execute code natively for more accurate data analysis. This update is currently available for Google AI Ultra users and Workspace business customers with AI Ultra and AI Expanded Access, and Google will extend it to all Pro users on the web in the coming weeks.
