GrabPay users in the Philippines now have the option to top up their wallets using cryptocurrency such as BTC, ETH, and stablecoins. GrabPay says it remains compliant with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) regulations, meaning crypto-related transactions are still subject to local financial laws. Ride-hailing super app Grab on Friday said it has pending approval before the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP)  to apply Php 15.00 transfer fee for InstaPay transactions from GrabPay to other banks and e-wallets starting on July 18, 2022. Although transfers to other GrabPay wallets will remain free of charge, according to their press release. Additionally, the collaboration allows users in the Philippines to top-up airtime, using popular Philippine-based partners like Coins.ph and GrabPay. Grab has announced that GrabPay users may now cash in through BDO, BPI, Unionbank, SM, and 7-Eleven. GrabPay users may now do multiple transactions in the platform with the partnership between Grab and Banco de Oro (BDO), Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Unionbank, SM, and 7-Eleven. With these Grab’s collaborations, users may now make instant cash-ins to GrabPay wallet for free by linking their bank accounts or by visiting the nearest SM mall or 7-Eleven store.
