Infinix has officially announced the launch of an upcoming Note 12 series smartphone that will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G99 processor. Mediatek's Helio G99 is based on TSMC's 6nm architecture that features 2 ARM Cortex-A76 cores that go up to 2.2GHz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 cores that go up to 2.0GHz. The Helio G99 however does not come with 5G connectivity but rather is only a 4G/LTE-only chipset. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. While performance should handle daily tasks well, it’s worth noting that the Helio G99 lacks 5G support. It features a MediaTek Helio G99 configured with 8GB RAM and 256GB of expandable storage.
