Simply put, the display refresh rate is how many times the screen displays a new image every second measured in hertz. Most smartphone displays have a refresh rate of 60Hz, which means that the display refreshes 60 times per second. If most displays have a 60hz refresh rate, what's the benefit of going even higher?
