SKYBIZ has announced its newest campaign in the country aimed at home business owners called Grow Together. HOMEBIZ subscribers will get a free starter tool kit, and a free WiFi mesh system for plans of up to 200Mbps. Every successful BIZBROADBAND application gets a free install fee for speeds of up to 200Mbps until November 30, 2021, for business in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Bacolod, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Cebu, Davao, General Santos and Zamboanga. There was a sudden spike in prepaid home broadband modems due to the work-from-home setup and online classes brought upon by the pandemic. Customers may even buy the LTE modems online from the PLDT Home website or GrabExpress (for Metro Manila residents only). Globe Telecom has announced that it is on track at deploying 2 million home broadband with at least 10Mbps speed by 2020. The telco has also announced that they have deployed 260,000 home broadband lines to date. It is also accelerating its deployment of 400,000 home broadband lines by end of 2017.
