(HCPI), Honda’s automobile business unit in the country, has officially unveiled the 2021 Honda City Hatchback. With the latest Honda City Hatchback, the company is expanding its City model line-up, serving as the Honda’s newest offering in the B-Segment hatchback category. Powering the new Honda City Hatchback is a 1.5-Liter 4 Cylinder DOHC i-VTEC engine that generates a maximum power output of 121ps at 6,600 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. The City Hatchback maintains the same 2600mm wheelbase similar to that of the City sedan. Though its hatchback body style, the new City Hatchback is 21mm taller and 204mm shorter than its sedan counterpart. Given its hatchback styling and configuration, the City Hatchback comes with Honda’s signature Ultra Seats (ULTR), allowing the rear seats to be folded flat or flipped up. The City Hatchback also boasts various technology features, including an 8-inch Advanced Touchscreen Display Audio with Apple CarPlay Android Auto & WebLink connectivity, an 8 (4 + 4 Tweeters) Speaker system, and a new Air Conditioning System with Rotary Knobs, Digital Display and Illumination. The 2021 Honda City Hatchback is now available at all 38 Honda dealerships nationwide with a price tag of PHP 1,115,000.
