The Honor 8 and the Honor 8 Pro are confirmed to receive Android 8.0 Oreo update soon. Honor's CEO, George Zao, confirmed in a Serbian online media publication interview that the company is currently beta testing Android 8.0 Oreo on the Honor 8 and Honor 8 Pro. He also stated that more Honor devices are said to have the said update, including the Honor 7X. HONOR and Xiaomi have recently dropped their newest contenders in the premium midrange segment: the HONOR 600 Pro and the Xiaomi 17T Pro.
