Honor is hosting a launch event next week on July 12 to unveil a range of new products. The star of the show is the HONOR Magic V3 foldable, rumored to be even thinner than its record-breaking predecessor, the Magic V2. Honor says it has developed an industry-first 10% silicon content battery making the Magic V3’s battery 4.4% thinner than the Magic V2’s while also making it able to store higher energy density. Honor's event will also see the launch of the Magic Vs3, presumably a more affordable follow-up to the Magic Vs2 that launched October last year. There's also the MagicPad 2 tablet, arriving exactly one year after its predecessor, and the MagicBook Art 14 laptop. Motorola, Honor secures 2nd, 3rd spot; 'book-type' foldables getting more traction As for the rest of the market share, Motorola is experiencing a foldable phone renaissance. Honor also deserves a mention, securing the third position with a 12% market share thanks to their Honor Magic V2, which reportedly reigned supreme in Western Europe's foldable market during Q1 2024. Following its recent release, the HONOR Magic V2 5G is now available via Globe Plan 2499.
