HP Pre 3 (2011) HP Pre 3 was the successor to the Palm Pre 2, just before Hewlett-Packard (HP) acquired Palm. However, on August 18, 2011, which was the next day of its release, HP announced that it will be abandoning operations of all webOS-related products, which include the HP Pre, HP Veer, and the HP TouchPad. HP's acquisition of Palm has finally making some progress with the computer giant today announcing the new HP Veer and the HP Pre 3. The HP Pre 3 is the successor to the Palm Pre 2, just before the acquisition. The HP Veer is like the baby brother of the Pre3 with a 2.6-inch capacitive screen running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7230 800MHz processor. Aside from the 8GB internal storage, the rest of the specs are very similar to the HP Pre3. Earlier dubbed as Nokia Tube, the just announced Nokia 5800 XpressMusic may appeal to many Nokia fans with its touch screen interface that comes with a pen stylus. Since I first bought the Compaq Presario V3000 over a year ago, I've been a fan of HP's line of laptops.
