Apple has launched its new iMac Pro powered by AMD's Radeon Pro Vega 56 graphics, with 8GB of HBM2 memory, 56 compute units, 3584 stream processors, 9 teraflops single precision, and 18 teraflops half precision. Along with the new iPad Pros, Apple has also released the new iMac Pro which boasts a 27-inch Retina 5K display, up to 18-core Xeon processors and up to 22 Teraflops of graphics computation. Apple calls the new iMac Pro its most powerful Mac ever. The iMac Pro is scheduled to ship in December starting at USD 4,999. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. The event is expected to feature the company's latest mobile chip announcements, including the anticipated Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing.
