Honor has announced their partnership with IMAX Enhanced for their upcoming Honor Magic 3 smartphone that is expected to arrive on August 12. Its triple-laser light engine incorporates 40 emitters and the Qualas 32 architecture, offering exceptional HDR capabilities with Dolby Vision, HDR Vivid, and IMAX Enhanced certifications. This model supports Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced, and HDR Vivid, and adds professional-grade LUT support. Here's another 3G broadband router sent in for review -- the Edimax 802.11b/g 3G Router. A couple of days ago, I attended a WiMax forum hosted by Intel Philippines. They are helping push the use of WiMax in emerging markets where there are very low but fast growing PC users. As one Intel executive puts it -- "there's no such thing as demand for WiMax, just demand for broadband connectivity". Here are some tidbits I'd like to share from what I gathered during the forum: There are abour 460 WiMax deployments in 135 countries worldwide for fixed, portable and mobile networks.
