Apple has unveiled their latest update for their operating system with iOS 26.1. One of the biggest features of iOS 26.1 is the new Liquid Glass toggle. Apple has confirmed that iOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, macOS 26, and visionOS 26 will roll out on September 15, 2025. Apple has also aligned version numbers with release years, which explains the jump from iOS 18 to iOS 26. The iPhone 17 series will ship with iOS 26, but the update will also be available on iPhone 11 and later models, including the 2nd generation and newer iPhone SE. Apple today officially announced the next version of their popular mobile operating system, the iOS 5 which will be available to you iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch this July. Changes include over 200 new features to the current line-up of iDevices, some of which were even copied inspired from Microsoft's Zune and Google Android. iOS5 also introduced iMessage, Newstand, Reminders, multi-tasking gestures and Airplay mirroring (for iPad2).
