For laundry, Midea showcased its Front Load Washing Machine Titanium Series, which supports IoT connectivity for remote monitoring and control via mobile devices. Midea’s sponsorship of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) was likewise showcased. Globe is gearing their network to support Internet of Things (IoT) services. Right now, Globe is working on introducing Narrow Band - Internet of Things (NB-IoT) technology. NB-IoT is a 3GPP standards-based low power wide area (LPWA) technology.
