vivo has revised its update policy for the iQOO 12: it now has an additional one year of software support. A tweet from iQOO India says that this will ensure “Your device stays up-to-date and secure till 2028.” This change levels the iQOO 12 with the new iQOO 13 in which vivo also promised the same number of OS updates and security patches. The iQOO 12 originally launched in 2023 running Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 skin on top. There is a Pro variant of the iQOO 12 but vivo hasn’t mentioned any extended support for it as of writing. VIVO has just officially revealed in China the iQOO phone, sporting great hardware at a competitive price. iQOO, a subbrand of VIVO, has teased the image render of its upcoming smartphone -- the VIVO iQOO Neo. You can also see that there is no fingerprint scanner located anywhere which could imply that the iQOO Neo will have an under-display fingerprint sensor.
