vivo has revised its update policy for the iQOO 12: it now has an additional one year of software support. A tweet from iQOO India says that this will ensure “Your device stays up-to-date and secure till 2028.” This change levels the iQOO 12 with the new iQOO 13 in which vivo also promised the same number of OS updates and security patches. The iQOO 12 originally launched in 2023 running Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14 skin on top. There is a Pro variant of the iQOO 12 but vivo hasn’t mentioned any extended support for it as of writing. Coming in third is the iQOO 12 from vivo at 2,034,885 points. Half of the list reveals Dimensity 8200/ 8100-powered phones such as iQOO Neo7, Infinix GT 20 Pro, and TECNO Camon 30 Pro 5G. According to an X post by a tech contributor, Xiaomi’s release should be followed by OnePlus and iQOO. The OnePlus 12, iQOO 12, Xiaomi 14, and Xiaomi 14 Pro were the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 upon release in China.
