Google has just announced [through their official Google+ Nexus page] that they've started sending out the Android 4.1 Jellybean update to GSM/HSPA+ flavors of their Galaxy Nexus phone. It's worth noting that all Nexus devices (with the inclusion of Motorola's Xoom tablet) bound for shipping later this month will be running Jellybean right out of the box. To those of you who can no longer wait for the update notification, you can try flashing the JRO03C build by downloading the zip file here. The Android 4.1 Jellybean is Google's latest iteration of the Android platform. Called "PDF Spaces," the update enables users to upload documents, internet links, and personal notes, which they can use with an AI assistant to produce summaries, presentations, and audio summaries. The feature also supports branding, automatic updates when files change, and engagement tracking, such as views and user activity. The update supports a wide range of formats. YouTube notes that users may need to update their app or device settings to enable PiP.
