Adobe unveils New Creative Cloud Innovations for Creators

Listen to article

Adobe announces a wave of new features for its Creative Cloud suite, including updates to Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom.

Leading the update is the general availability of Assisted Culling in Lightroom now, made stronger with Face View. It kinda isolates the subjects’ faces so photographers can check eye sharpness and also whether the eyes are open.

On top of that, Lightroom gets AI-powered Photo to Video generation, powered by Firefly and Google Veo, plus a new AI Sharpen tool that does the heavy lifting. Premiere Pro also gets some upgrades, like Global Audio Mute, Marker Search, and a batch of new visual effects. It even adds Single Word Captioning, which feels pretty neat.

After Effects, meanwhile, receives AI-powered Object Matte tools, and there are enhanced 3D depth controls so the scenes look more controlled, at least in practice.

And in Photoshop, Reflection Removal can automatically get rid of glass reflections. The Remove Tool now also supports offline on-device generative AI editing, so you don’t have to wait around or depend on the connection as much.
