Mediatek has announced two new chipsets specifically created for Chromebooks, the MediaTek Kompanio 520 and MediaTek Kompanio 528. These two compliments the initial release of Kompanio 1380 for premium Chromebook back in January and Kompanio 1300T for tablet computers over a year ago. The Kompanio 520/528 runs on an octa-core chip, headlined by a dual ARM Cortex-A76 processor (520 runs at 2.0GHz; 528 at 2.2GHz). Acer today unveiled two new projectors in its eco-friendly Vero product line; the Acer Vero PD2528ic and the Acer Vero PD2328. The Acer Vero PD2328 is available with a WXGA (1280x800) resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 3,700 lumens of brightness, while the Acer Vero PD2528ic features an FHD (1920x1080) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 3,200 ANSI lumens.
