#LandBank fund transfer fee

Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) has just cut their online bank transfer fee via InstaPay from Php 25 to Php 15. According to LandBank, the move was made with the goal of advancing financial inclusion and will be effective for transfers via InstaPay effective June 15, 2023. In addition, LandBank says that the lowering of the fee is in line with their full support of the National Government’s financial inclusion agenda, meeting the evolving needs of customers, and its expanded mandate of serving the nation. Metrobank has announced a significant reduction in its InstaPay transfer fees, introducing a new flat rate of ₱8 per transaction beginning February 1, 2026. Previously, Metrobank charged ₱25 per InstaPay transfer, although the bank had waived fees for transactions worth ₱1,000 and below over the past year. With the new pricing structure, all InstaPay transfers—regardless of amount—will now carry the ₱8 service fee, simplifying costs for users. While the fee waiver for small transfers is ending, the lower flat rate may benefit users who frequently move larger amounts. That means faster transfers but possibly added fees depending on the partner bank or e-wallet.
