For some time now, claims of more than 10 hours of battery life on netbooks are often times unbelievable and not really achievable in real world tests. For our purposes, we'll use the mAh which you can see in the sticker in your laptop's battery (to convert Wh to mAh, just follow this formula -- mAh = Wh / V * 1000). The 6-cell battery of the laptop I used is 4,400mAh (47,300mWh at 10.8V rating). So, on idle the maximum battery life of the laptop is 4,400/739 or close to 6 hours while on audio playback it's 3.6 hours and 3.25 hours on video playback. Toshiba did a refresh of the NB series with the NB300/305 now sporting a 3.5G SIM slot and promising up to 11 hours of battery life on the 6-cell model. One of the main highlights of the headphones is battery life. Battery life reaches up to 8 hours per charge with ANC turned off, or up to 5 hours with ANC enabled.
