Leica has just unveiled its latest full-frame mirrorless camera, the Leica SL2. The SL2 also has a 5-axis system, continuous shooting speed of up to 20 fps, 4K video recording, cine mode, 225 autofocus metering fields, Leica Object Detection, 187MP multi-shot mode, a mechanical shutter of up to 1/8000s and an electric shutter of up to 1/4000s. Other features of the SL2 are a 1,860mAh rechargeable battery, USB-C port, 3.5mm combo jack, HDMI 2.0b output, two UHS-II SD card slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, and compatibility with the Leica FOTOS app. The Leica SL2 retails for USD 5,995 (body only) and will be available for purchase in the US beginning November 21. Just today, Leica announces a new addition to the TL series of mirrorless point-and-shoot cameras, the Leica TL2. Its LCD screen measures 3.7-inch which Leica noted to be of high quality. Leica TL2 is priced at $1,950 (body-only) in black and silver color options and will now be available today at Leica boutiques and authorized retailers.
